Strong Feelings Excited
AUCKLAND, July 30. Mr David Goldie addressed a large audience of the City West electors last night, and received a vote of thanks and confidence. The Opposition element in the meeting was strong, and their feelings were roused by reference to Mr Goldie's very pronounced Orange views. Bags of flour began to fly about in tho middle of the hall, and a free fight arose, but was suppressed by the police. The meeting finally broke up in utter disorder, many retreating to the platform for Bafety.
