John Spratt, for breaking a baa' • of glass in Barrett's Hotel whilst drunk; was fined 103, and ordered to pay 83. thi' value of the glass. , . . ' Civil Cases.— Judgment was given fo plaintiffs, by default, in the following cases:— Moir and Co. v. Hastings, daint Ml 12s; Goodman v. Eosewarne, claim £1 5s 3 Innes and Co. v. Wakefield, claim lOai same v. Martin, claim 10a; same V. Ale» ander, claim 8s ; Irving v. Richards, claia .£l2 10s j Davia v. Wakefield, claim 15a In the case, Taylor and Oakley t. Fiknen * claim£24,in which Mr Beswick appeared fo» the plaintiff, and Mr Fisher for the defend aut, the Bench nonsuited the plaintiffs.— Earnshaw v. Waddingham, claim Mj Stringer for the plaintiff, and Mr Holmet for the defendant. Defendant paid JBj into Court in satisfaction of claim. 3a this case defendant seized a horse and trap belonging to the plaintiff, bnfc returned them tho next morning.
