SE Stringer, who appeared for the Officig Assignee, read the evidence that had betf takes before the Assignee. The bank' rupts had kept shops at Sydenham an* Southbridge, and had not kept props bookß. The evidence showed that th; expenditure in the Sydenham shop wa .£l3 per week, and the profits were abon £10 a month. The losses during sevei months were J81170, . of which there aj" peared no record of .£BOO. Mr Joynt submitted that the brankrupii > had acted in good faith. The creditor were as much to blame as the bankrupt* for they must have seen that they had tt experience. The bankrupts had lost .£3oi or .£4OO of their own money. His Honor would postpone the discharge (when moved for) of Thompson for twi years, and of Logan for three months. . This concluded the business.
