The Proclaimed Counties.
LONDON, July 25. Ten Irisk cities, including Dublin, Derry, Belfast, and Cork, and fourteen additional Counties, are proclaimed to be under the full operation of the provisions of the Irish Crimes Act. Twelve Counties have been partially proclaimed, thus comprising the whole of Ireland, except certain portions of the County of Antrim.
[Special to Peess Association.] ' Gunboat Accident. LONDON, Jult 25. During the naval review off Portsmouth a distressing accident occurred on board H.'tf . G-unboat Kite. A gun cartridge exploded, killing one man and injuring several others. The Daily News characterises the " proclamation " of several Counties in Ireland under the Crimes Act as a gross outrage, and maintains that Ministera must be brought to strict and immediate account.
