Gloucestershire, was continued to-day at Clifton. - The Australians finished their first innings, which closed for 211, or 9 runs less than their opponents' score. The Home team then went in for their Becond innings, and at the conclusion of the day's play had put together 196 runs for the loss of five wickets. The principal scores made to-day were : — For the Australians — Jones, caught, 67 ; Blackham, bowled, 60. For Gloucestershire Brain scored 70. LONDON, August 7. The cricket match, Australians v. Gloucestershire, was concluded to-day at Clifton. Tie Home team, with five wickers down for 196, resumed their innings, which closed for 358, W. G. Grace playing a -splendid game for 110. The Australians, requiring 368 runs to win, went in for their aecond innings, and when play ivas stopped had scored 178 for five wickets, Giffen <caught43) and Scott (bowled 75) being the most successful batsmen. The match was declared drawn. '
