Mr Jellicoe, solicitor, has been retained by Messrs Williamson and Son, sharebrokers of the Wellington Woollen Company, to commence an action against J. D. Lance, M.H.R. for Cheviot, for alleged slanderous statements he uttered at the Westport banquet to his Excellency the ■Governor.
