+ [Fib Pbbss Association.J WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. At the Women's Christian Temperance Union Conference the following ladies were present: — Mrs Dudley Ward, Provisional President j Mrs Fulton, President at Dunedin ; Mrs Packe, President at <Jhriatchurch ; Mrs Clarke, delegate from Chriatchurch ; Mrs Wroughton; Mrs Hunter, President at Wellington; Mrs Plimmer, Secretary at Wellington; Mrs Baker, Treasurer at Wellington ; Mrs Snow, delegate from Wellington; Mrs Sinclair, Auckland; Mrs Troy ; Mrs Rouse, President at Rangiora. The following officers were elected for the General Union of j New Zealand :~Preßident, Mrs Dudley Ward ; Corresponding Secretary, Miss Brett j Recording Secretary, Mrs Troy ; j Treasurer, Mrs C. A. Baker. To-day's sitting was occupied in considering the question of revision of the Constitution of the Union, and was adjourned until tomorrow, when it will be finally decided. A public meeting in connection with the Union was held to-night, when Mrs Dudley Ward delivered an address on the work of the Union in New Zealand, and Sir W. Fox I also delivered an address as to the operation ' of similar institutions in America. j
