Scott Brothers' Locomotive Contract.
♦ THE DIFFICULTY SETTLED. We are pleased to be able to inform our reader 3, on the authority of the contracting firm, that the difficulty between the •Government and Messrs Scott Bros., with reference to tbe alleged breach of the terms of the contract for the construction of locomotives, has been settled on terms which are Baid to be satisfactory to both parties. The work in connection with the contract, which has been suspended for the past few weeks, was resumed this morning, and will now be pushed on vigorously.
