Stoppage of a Bank.
THE SOUTH AUSTKALIAN COMMERCIAL. Mr Kaye, the managing partner in the firm of Messrs Kaye and Carter of this city, has received the following cable message from Adelaide It will be of much interest to commercial men, as indicative of the state of financial affairs in South Australia :— " The Commercial Bank of South Australia, of which Mr Crooks is the manager, Btopped payment to-day (Feb. 24)." The capital of tho Commercial Bank of South Australia is .£250,000 (£200,000 paid up) ; reserve J27500.
