CRICKET.
A cricket match was held on the Lancaster Park cricket grounds on Saturday "between teams from the rival steamers ' Tongariro and Arawa, and resulted in a Tictory for the steamer Arawa by ten -wickets. A large number of spectators assembled to watch the match. The highest score was attained by Warren, of the Arawa. Innes and Eccles bowled well , for the winning team, and Eolleston and Smith played well for the Tongariro. The ■well-known and popular Captain Bone was •» present as a spectator. Scores : —
