RIFLE SHOOTING.

The return match between the Kaiapoi and Opawa Eifle Clubs was fired off on Saturday, on the Kaiapoi Club's lange, when the local team scored another win. The shooting, as will be seen from the subjoined scores, was extremely good, except in one or two instances where the competitors failed to find the elevation at the longest range. After the match, the visiting team were most hospitably entertained by the victors at the Pier Hotel, where a very enjoyable evening was passed. The following is the score :-— KAIAPOI EIFLE CLUB.
