MINISTERIAL.
WELLINGTON, April 6. It is probable that the Governor and the Hon J. Ballance will leave to-morrow by the Hinernoa, for Lyttelton. The Minister of Public Works will probably leave overland for Napier this evening. VOLUNTEER ENCAMPMENT. NELSON, April G. Fully 5000 people attended the camp at Stoko to-day, and the review and sliani fight were an unqualified success- The whole of the movements were visible from various points, and the scene was very effective. In the afternoon the review took place, Major Stapp being brigadier and re•vsigwing officer. The march past was highly creditable. The whole brigade went through manual and bayonet exercise with great precision, and the Alexandra Cavalry were lustily cheered on marching past; at the double, and retiring at the gallop. -The infantry and artillery then went through firing exercise, the Nelson battalion distinguishing itself for precision, but the Wellingtou battalion had no ammunition. The infantry then formed into squads, each battalion with big guns at the angles* and the Alexandra Cavalry made a splendid charge. On the return, Trooper P. Bryce met with an accident. His girths breaking, he came an awful cropper, and was stunned, but not seriously hurb.
