The electric light installation, which "has been erected by the agents of the Gulcher Company for the illumination of the wharves at Lyttelton, will be f ormally taken over by the Harbour Board tonight. His Excellency the Governor has kindly consented to visit Lyttelton for the purpose of turning on the lights.
