•* TPbb Pbbbs Association.] WELLINGTON, Bbpt. 6. A cottage situated in Sussex square, owned and ocoupied by James Turner, was destroyed by fire this evening. The origin aad amount of the insurances are unknown. WBEOK OF A CUTTEB. WELLINGTON, Bbpt. 7. Turner's cottage, destroyed by fire last night, was insured for £120 in the South British and £130 in the London and Globe, and the furniture for £50 also with the latter Oompany. The fire originated by the upsetting of a kerosene lamp. The outter Three Brothers, owned by George Thomas, and trading to Otaki, was wreoked at Kapiti during the north-west gale on Wednesday. The crew landed safely. There was no insurance on the vessel, whioh is a total loss.
