The Missing Children.

FINDING OE THE BODY OF LILLY. The finding of the body of little Lilly, the seoond of the two lads who wore benighted on the Port hills, was recorded in our issue of yesterday. Subjoined are tke complete details :—

The body was found by a shepherd named John Keogh, employed by Messrs Morten and White. It was lying on the hillBide, about half a mile from where Mason's corpse wbb found, and near the top of the range. It was decayed almost to n (skeleton. Immediately after his discovery, Keogh informed the police, and Bergeant Moore, with Constables Daloy and Ooßtin, went out with a vehioleto bring the body to the morgue. They were accompanied by Mr Lilly, father of the unfortunate lad. The party found the body a few minuteB 1 walk further up the hill to the right of where Mason's body Jay , as a person ascends from the Ohrislchuroh side. Tho boy had fallen on his face, as if he had oome from the dry bußh gully and was going in the direction where his companion's remains were found. His hat was close to the head, as if he had not stirred fromthe time he fell, and his fishiflg rod was fired in the ground close by. Tho body, as may be judged, was in a frightful state of decomposition. It was brought to Ohristchurch and laid in the morgue. The inquest will be held at 3 p.m. to-day at the Clarendon Hotel.
