Detjnkbnness. — In the case of Elizabeth Gleeeon, charged with this offence, Inspector Pender stated that the woman had been sent to the Hoipital, and the case was remanded to Wednesday next.— J. F. Le Sueur was convicted of being drunk in High street, and fined ss. Vagbancy. — John Bradley, an old maa, was accused of having no lawful visible mean? of support. It appeard that the accused had been begging in town yesterday, and had been arrested by Sergeant Maaon while he was coming out of the Central Hotel bar. Sentenced to three months' hard labour. Bbkaking Ohubch Windows. — John Cook and John Proudfoofc wero accused of breaking the windows and damaging Bhirley church to the value of £3. Both of the prisoners admitted the offence. Inspector Pender said that so far as he could learn the two young men accused were respectably connected, and had very much surprised those who knew them by their conduct on this oocasion. They had been drinking, and forgot themselves. Complainant, a guard named Samuel Hall, stated that he was coupling up a special goods train at Templeton yesterday, when the defendant and another man ran up to the train. Acoused got into a waggon next the engine, and when witness requested him to desist, accused " told him to go to a warm place," shaped up to him, and also tore witness' waistcoat. The acoused was drunk at the time, and rery violent, and the stationmaster had to come to the guard's assistance. Fined £2 ; in default of payment, four days' hard labour.
