Conjugal Rights. WELLINGTON, Dbo. 8. 1 De Norval, the assistant bailiff at the Magistrate's Court, has not been allowed to resign, but has been expelled from the publio service, in oonaequenoe of his connection with the diutillation cases. Wttllis, formerly the proprietor of Punch in Wellington, was Bued by his wife yestordny, for a protection order, on the ground of desertion. The evidenoo, however, did not justify the granting of an order. Wallis now intends to take legal steps for the restoration of conjugal rights. His wife, a handsome woman, it employed as laleßwoman at Caiey and M'Donald'fl, Lambton Quay. =======r==== .
