Festive Butchers.
a [SPECIAI TO THB " STAB."] WELLINGTON, Due. 6. The Wellington Butchers' Association hold their firßt annual picnio to-day at Alice Town, near Lower Hutt, where a programme of sports is being gone through. All the butchers' shops in town are closed to-day, and a ball will be held tonight. The affair is passing off with greafc sucoess.
