A CORRECTION.
Tho following letter appeared in this morning's Lyttelton 'Times : — Sib,— l am requested by the Managing Committee of the Oddfollows 1 Hall to contradiob a statement made by the Mayor at the last City Council meeting, in reference to the doors of the hall, opening inwards. The faot is, and the Mayor might easily havo ascertained it, that all the doors open outwards. Suoh a publicly made mistake is calculated to injure the City of Ohristchurch Xodgd, to which tho hall belongs, and the < r Pinafore" Company now performing thoro ; therefore I must ask you kindly to insert this letter.— lam, &0., *' 0.
