The p.s. Dispatch, after lying in the roadBtead for 24 hours with her passengers, mails, alld gold, returned to the wharf without having seen the Claud Hamilton, the latter vessel baring sailed from Hokitika to Australia without returning to Greymouth, although the captain was adviiied that the Dispatch -was out waiting for him.
