The schooner Torta arrived in harbour this morning. The barque G. 8.5., Captain James, loaded by Messrs P. Cunningham and Co., cleared at the Customs yesterday for Cork or Falmouth, for orifTs. She has on board a full cargo of 7789 sacks of wheat. The work of lightening the Kialto haa proceeded, apace. Tip to list evening 500 tons of coal had been taken oat of her, and tho work was to be continued throughout last night. A portion of the split was out of water last evening, and by this morning it is anticipated that the whole of it will be above water. The barque Bells, from Newcastle, arrived yesterday afternoon, with a cargo of coal for Mr O. W. Tamer. She left Newcastle on June 2. The Minna Bell commenced discharging coal at Ko. 4 wharf yesterday. • • ■ The barque Island City, Captain M'Donald, left Newcastle on June 6. Had southerly winds for the first 26 hoars oat, then westerly weather to miking Cape Farewell on Saturday last. Bounded Cape Campbell on Sunday, end had variable winds to makfiig Koikouraj thence strong W.S.W. winds to arrival. The barque brings a cargo of coal for Messrs P. Cuuniogham and Ce. The barque Canny Scot, Captain Hanson, arrived yesterday, with a cargo of coal for Mosßra W. Montgomery and Co. She left oa June 5, and met with the same weather as that reported by the Island City.
