BENEFIT OF HERR BUNZ.
Our readers are reminded fchafc for fchis evening Herr Biinz announces a benefit onfcerfcainmenfc to take place in the Theatre Royal. Herr Biinz has for many years been favourably known in Christchurch as one whose services have always been readily available in furtherance of any musical entertainment for charitable purposes, and as an enthusiastic lover of music he has certainly been very widely known. Bufc apart from these considerations, Herr Biinz has provided such a programme as can scarcely fail to attract a large audience. Mdlle. Charbonnet, who has thoroughly won fche sympathetic commendation of fche public, is announced to perform, and Signova Venosfca will sing some good music. Miss Florence Colville, who for some months has been absent from Christchurch, has kindly consented fco read " Mary Queen of Scots," and to appear as Lady Teazle in a scene from " The School for Scandal," Mr Walter Hill taking part therein as Sir Peter. Mrs Walter Hill, the Sisters May, Mrs Arthur Toke, and Messrs Marshall, Hill, Luisetti aud Sfcark also have items allotted to them in the programme. Under such circumstances, Herr Biinz should certainly secure a bumper on the occasion of his first benefit.
