Auckland, Jan. 11. Arrived — James Wishort, from London, 90 daya out. Brigantino A. Clive, from Samoa. The Jamos wTaharb made a passage of 85 days to North Cape. Since thon ehe was becalmed on the'coast. Captain Buxn3 reports a fear'ul gale in the English Channel. The decks were swept, and all deck cargo carried overboard ; passed the Equator in 31 days, and tho Capo in 52 days. She brings 25 passengers, all well, and a general cargo. Bailed— Seagull, with timber, for the South. Sailed— Faloon, for Newcastle. Inveroargill, ship, for London. Napier, Jan. 11. The ship Adamant, with immigiaats from London, 96 days out, ia now coming' np tho bay. Spit, Jan. 13. The barque Adamant arrived on Saturday from London vi- Plymouth with 270 immigrants on board, all well. She experienced flue weather during tho passage, whioh oooupied 105 days. . Two births occurred on the way out, and one infant died. The immigrants speak highly of Captain Bowling, and they have presented him with an address.! Wellington, Jan. 11. Arrived — Wanaka and Eaaby, from the South. Sailed— Malay, barquo, for Nowcastle ; Enterprise for Kaiapara, Ladybird for tho South. The ship Taranaki left Glasgow for Port Chalmers early in November, with 203 immigrants. Tho Boyne left Plymouth for Lyttelton on Nov. 8, with 350 immigrants. Port Chalmers, Jan. 12. Arrived— Charlotte Grant, from Melbourno, and Taupo from Akaroa. Sailed — On Saturday night, tho Amorican barque Helen Angier, with port of the original cargo from New York for Lyttolton. Arrived— Star of tho South, at 10 a.m., from Lyt tolton via Timaru. Sailed— Myrtle, for Auckland. Arrived— Maori, from Timaru ; Star of tho South, from Wauganui via Timarn ; Australian Sovereign, from Newcastle ; WaitakifromOamara. Sailed— Acacia, barquo, nnd Onward, schoonor, for Lyttelton ; Faloon for Newcastle, Myrtle for Auckland, Star ot the South for the North. The ship Invercargill sails to-day with 14 passengers and the following' cargo for London : — Wool, 5100 bales, £102,000; wheat, 1865 bags, £1865; : meats, 1168 cases, -2330; sundries, 4 packages, £50-total, £106,251. Bluff, Jan. 11. Arrived — Australian Sovereign, barquo, from Newcastle. Sailed— Acaoia, barque, and Onward, schooner, for Lyttolton.
