[Fbom thb Pbhss Agbnoy.] GRAND BETUBNS FROM OHINEMURI. Gbahamstow, August 26. The first return from the Weloome Compa.ny, Waitekauri, Ohinemuri, was brought down to-day. It consisted of 151 oz. Tho quantity of stuff crushed was 58 tons. Tho results is eminently satisfactory, being rogarded aa an asauranco of a groat future for tho diiteiot.
Napier, August 27. The Rev Mr Robinson haß resigned tho ouraoy of St John's. The parishioners held an indignation meeting, and passed a resolution praotically censuring the Boy Mr Townaend, the Inoumbent, who has resigned, and gone to Ohristohuroh to bring the matter before the Metropolitan Bishop. Notice has been given that the ohuroh is shut up, and no service will be held next Sunday.
