[Per Greville's Telegram Company, Reuter's Agents.] Wellington, Nov. 15, 3.25 p.m. Telegrams report the wreck of the ketch Mosquito at Kapiti. Two of the crew are missing, and one saved. -„.-.. 7.52 p.m. Later telegrams report the Mosquito a complete wreck near : Kapiti, and the cargo strewn about the shore. The ketch was bound from Wellington to Manawatu. Sailed — Keera, for the South. Passengers — cabin : Messrs Porter, Russell, Broad, Baron, and two children. Bouverie, ship, from Glasgow, 92 days out ; a brig, supposed to be the Sarah, from Boston. Sailed— Southern Cross, barque, for Lyttelton. Nelson, Nov. 15. Sailed — Wellington, for Wellington. Auckland, Nov. 12, Vir Wanganui. Nine hundred Volunteers attended the review, including Cadets. An omnibus coming from the review struck a verandah post ; ten passengers were injured, and the driver was arrested. The Jews have resolved to build a new synagogue ; £500 was subscribed in the room. The Caledonia mine continues to improve ; four cwt. of specimens were taken out yesterday. Wheat is quoted at 4s — very dull j potatoes, oats, and other produce are overstocked. Hokitika, Nov. 15. A great public meeting has been held respecting tho hospital scandal. Resolutions were passed unanimously condemning the committee, and demaflding their resignation en masse. A vote of thanks was also passed to the West Coast Times -for ventilating the question. Preshaw has been arrested for alleged defalcations, and remanded.
