Aug. 10. Wheat rose in Liverpool to 12s per bushel, and is now firm at lis 3d. Wool has an upward tendency, the advance of ld to 2d being maintained. New Zealand flax and gum are firm at last quotations. Hides are firm at previous quotations. Another telegram, special to the San Francisco Bulletin, and dated Aug. 9, states that consols are at 91£ for money, and 9Lf for account, also that tallow has advanced quickly and steadily Is, owing to the probability of Russia being involved in the war. Fine mutton is quoted at £40 to £43 3s. Australian is dull and no sales are reported. Wool is dull; sales have been made at fair prices, but practically nothing is doing. Hides are languid. In flax low qualities are neglected, fair qualities are firm. Markets in California are much disturbed. Good wheat is quoted at 1 doi. 60c. Pabib, Aug. 10. The Bourse is firm. Discounts have been reduced by the Bank of France to 6 per cent.
