" Wanganui, 1 4th June, 1870. " Dear Sir, — I forward samples of dressed flax, scutched and unscutcbed, prepared at the Wanganui Steam Mill by Messrs Finnitnore and Co. " The whole of the flax is dressed by Price's machine!, is slightly washed in. cold , water, and partly bleached. I regret that I am unable to procure better samples for you. I did not know your wishes until the mail was closed, and the best samples had been seat to Dunedin. " I am, very truly yours, " J. Finnimobb."
