Europe, Africa, America, and the West Indies, via San FrancUco, will close on Saturday, July 2, at 1 p.m. Newspapers at 12, noon Money orders may be obtained till 10.30 a.m , and lettersregistered till 11 a.m. Late letters for all the above places may b* posted till 1.55 p.m. on July 2, such letters to bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. Mails for the Australian colonies, Otago and Southland, and Northern provinces of New Zealand, at 11.15 a.m. on Saturday July 2. Late letters for all the above places can bs posted until 11.35 a.m. Such letters must sear the usual bite fee in postage stamps. Mails for Sydney, per Fairy Rock, will close, at 8. a.m. on Saturday, July 2 ; letters must be. specially so addressed. Mails for Sydney, per Stranger, will close at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 4 ; letters must be specially so addressed. • Mail* for. United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, via Suez, will close at 1.15 p.m. Mails for Otago, Southland, the Australian colonies and Northern provinces of New Zealand, will close at 1.30 p.m. Money orders may be obtained, and letters registered, till one hour previous to closing of mails. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 1.55 p.m. Such letters to bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. The postage on ordinary and registered letters, book-packets, and newspapers, posted for the United States, British North America, and the Sandwich Islands is at the same rate as for England via Suez and Southampton — namely, 6d per half ounce for letters, and Id each for newspapers, and Sd for registration.
