VIA SAN FRANCISCO, on SATURDAY, JULY 2, at 8.30 a.m. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, America, and tbe West Indies, via San Francisco, will close on Saturday, July 2, at 8.30 am. Newspapers at 7.30 am. Money orders may be obtained and letters registered till 5 p.m. on Friday, July 1. Mails for the Northern provinces of New Zealand will close at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 2. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 9.25 a.m. on July 2, such letters to bear the usual late fee in postage stamps.
