Mr J. C. Wilson, C.B.J, proposed by Dr Barker, seconded by Mr Cutler; Each of the candidates addressed the meet* ing. The Returning Of.iceb called for a show of hands, which resulted as follows :—
A poll was demanded by Mr Wilson, and will take place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Wednesday next
