WOMEN’S DIVISION
TE PUKE MEMBERS GATHER
The monthly .meeting of the Te Puke Women’s Division Federated Farmers was held in the Parish Hall on February 15, all 11.30 a.m. when Mrs Spooner presided over a good attendance. In the best bloom competition Mrs Davidson received first prize and Mrs Spooner, second. The lucky number was won by Mrs Wirohia. Hostesses for the day were Mesdomes Gilmore, Barrow', and Bird, A social half-hour was spent in community singing led by Mrs Davidson, with Mrs Darkness at the piano, and an elocutionary item by Verna Cosson was'also enjoyed by all. :
