A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Bay Union was held on Tuesday, there being present Messrs J, Guinness (President), M. Simmonds (Secretary) and A Jamieson. Suspension Lifted The N. Z. Union wrote lifting t.he suspension imnosed by it in 1930 against Pat Wih lpi. Representative Matches Waikato Bay of Plenty.—The Waikato Union wrote accepting July Bth for this match, the gime to be played at Rotorua. It was decided that in view of the opposition from Opotiki and Apanui in playing this match on this date, July Ist be the date for the Te Hurunui-Apanui Shield match at Opotiki against Apanui, in place of July Bth This wouli ena,ble the seleotors to watch any possible talent in these two teams for selection in the Waikato-Bay fixture. It was decided that Sub Unions be requested to furnish the Secretary of the Union with the names of players suitable for selection for July Bth. HaWke'a Bay-Bay of Plenty.--The HaWke*s Bay Union Wrote accepting August &3rd for a thatch at Taut’afiga, ThamesWalley-Bay of Plenty.™ Tfaameh V'allev. wrote accepting fehis,thatCh at Tauranga an August sth. No expenses were required by the visiting team.
