Paengaroa Concert And Dance
The promoter of Friday night’s concert, Mr F. H. Wilkie, informs us that preparations for the forthcoming entertainment are now complete. A most successful rehearsal was held last evening and an acceptable Bill of Fare is assured. The programme will con- * ; sist of humorous quartettes, duets, solo numbers and character sketches. The lion tamer and the world’s worst wizards will make their appearanCe. The following ladies and gentlemen are taking part Mesdames Washer, Matthews, Heather, Wilkie, Misses Howell, B. Wilkie B. Howell, Messrs Knight, Gibbings. Ramson, Boyt and Wilkie. Miss Place will preside at the 7 piano. At the conclusion of the concert programme a dance will be held. The ladies of the Women s Institute are generously providing supper. The whole of the proceeds are to be devoted to the Hall fund and it is confidently expected that the presbnt debt on the Hall will be extinguished as a result of the entertainment.
