TRYING THE KAISER
SUGGESTION IN FRANCE Paris, June 14. Consequent on the acquittal by the German Court at Leipzig of Max Randohr, who was charged by the Belgian Government with imprisoning and illtreating Belgian children in 1917, a member of the French Senate has given notice to the ‘Prime Minister (M. Briand) that he will question the Government regarding the steps to be taken to carry out the clause of the Versailles treaty under which the v ex-Kaiser must be tried. ’
