FATAL FIRE IN CHRIST CHRUCH.
DEATH OF CART DRIVER. 1 Christchurch, June 15. A fatal fire occurred at Hornby last.evening, an 8 roomed home owned by Mr F. H. Steel, butcher, being completely destroyed. An occupant, John Hampton, a single man, aged 65 years, a meat cart driver, who lived in the house alone, perished in the flames. .
