A contemporary interested in the statement- that many English, Scotch and editors have gone to the front and that therefore their chairs are necessarily filled by Irish gentlemen, quotes the following in evidence:— Our Financial Secretary with am opened envelope in one hand and the broadest of smiles in the other.— "Telegraph Record."
