BOWLING.

A meeting of the council of the Dominion Bowling Association was held at Mr A. M. Bryden's office on Monday last. The election for the North Island non-official members of the council resulted in the return of Messrs T .Bush, Wellington; V. Casey, Auckland; L. Cohen, Wanganui ; E. A .Power. South Auckland; M. Walker, Auckland. The South Island members are: Messrs J. W. Beaniand, Christchiirch; W. Helhwell, Christchurch; J. J. Marlow, Dunedin; C. Russe.l Smith, Dunedin; R. Wylie, Christchurch. Mr F. J. Steans, of Christchurch, was elected treasurer, and with Mr M. F. Barnett, GhristdhurOh, president, and Col. R- J- Collins, C.M.G., Wellington, vice-president, will form the official members of the council. The headquarters of the Dominion Association will be at Christchurch during the 1915-16 season.
