Owing to the illegal action of Adult School Club in deliberately defaulting to Everton in the match arranged l for on 31st July, the club has been suspended for the rest of the season, or until a satisfactory explanation is forthcoming. The first round of the second grade competition has been completed, and it is expected, that the four or six leading teams will play off. Whilst the cup matches are in progress no other games will be played. In the third' grade Wild Rose and Richmond are level for the championship. These two teams meet on Saturday next, and, as the championship of the grade will depend on the result of this game great interest is being taken in the meeting.
