J P has shaved ofi his mo at the re. quest of J ; but still his whiskers giew...Wbat kept J B away from the dance the other night ? Surely not A A's absence. ..Who is it that persistently ofiends K at the dances ? ... A F says there is no fun in Okaihau since D A got, married ; hence her departure...Who lost his specs by their dropping; on the road without his knowledge ? Was it N ? ... M F seems to be looking after his brother's interest with T D, to the annoyance of W L...The girls want to know why H R dances so much with the married ladies. ..E II is not going to any more dances in Okaihau because of that wretched O M. Poor F N.
