The dance at the Institute Hall on Wednesday evening last was a rather dry hash sort of affair, on account of several of our mashers beiDg absent. .. l L, the Flat masher, had every second dunce with MX. What a come down, M. ! ..They say P J and E H had a splendid time at the bun supper after the dance. Miss C makes nice buns. ..How soon P L found M G at the dance. Looks like busi • ness.. How well NAL looked with J W, the country boy, under her w.ng . H li and L G caused a rumpus at the dance. What price •kiwi ' now, H?...J C, the city 'owler, couldn't dance after the supper. He must have strained himself at the table.. Jß is thinking about leaving Charleston for South Africa. ..How did M K enjoy the dance with BM ? Did he worry you with his boots, M?..T S looked fatherly at the gate up North the other evening.. MX had J O'C out for a nice walk on Tuesday. ..P J is running after two girls — N O'C and M Me. He will be a great boon to either one of them. ..LCis leaving Camp street. What will the boys do now ?... What was all the attraction up the Darkies' Road the other evening ?...P M is thinking about going up North again. ..SI H was greatly taken with L B at the dane . What next, M?;.SH is nil smiles now. He i* expecting M M back from Seddonville...W G had a letter from L F the other day. Whut about the Broomilaw Road episode, W ?...W L was very attentive to the beach girls. .The West Coast Hotel seems to be the principal resort of tourists and mashers. Is M S the attraction ?
