NEW PLYMOUTH,
The Tukapa Football Club held their, annual social in the Alexandra Hall on Thursday, 10th. The function was a great success. The hall was nicely decorated with ferns and Chinese lanterns from the protcenium the banner of the Star Club was suspended, and on the stage festoons of ferns and flags wtre arranged. The Tukapa banner was hung in the dress circle, while the windows at the sides were draped with curtains interlaced with colours of the different clubs in the dUtricc. The music was supplied by Mr Garry's orchestra, aud the extras were plajed by Misses Kirkby, Oldfielil, Webster, and Mr Morey. . J A was doing the heavy with M D F...W T whs all there with N A...J D S seemed very dibappoinied when K P said she wa-n't danciug..E R was going strong at the supper table. .C F came out, and was rather sweet on L P.. A G was going it strong with Miss D ; also, J N and 0R..H8 looked loving with J K. at the top of the stair 3. What if Miss K knew, H ?. .The E sisters and E C were doing the heavy with the college boys on Saturday.
