NEW PLYMOUTH
The ladies of the Pollard Opeia Company were entertained atPitzroy on Monday night by the faculty of New Plymouth. There were present doctors, bank managers, bank clerks, and seme who were not clerks at all. The ladies, who numbered about twentyfive, were driven out and back in brakes and cabs. Dancing commenced at about 8.30 p.m, and was kept up till 1 a ra. OB was MC, and acquitted himself well. But why so much side, O?..SH says flour is cheap. Too bad, S. ...The O M would like to know if E E goes to church to smile at S C. .The O'— sisters seem down-hearted since W B went to the Thames. . Miss N seemed happy on Tuesday. Was it because F L hid come back?. .E C is growing a moiißttiche...F D and <J B are soon to face the altar. .CX is prepared to give lessons in driving. .The Quadrille Assembly class finished the season on Wednesday with a social, which was fairly well attended, and dancing was kept up till 2 a.m. ...A L was there with LA, also T H and C B with the Misses H...J S seemed to like dancing with Mrs McC.J K was doing the he avy with Miss C of M. .F B and C B art) soon to run in double harness ; likewise O S ana E B.
