N.M. should not have made Miss B.M. walk so fast going home the other night.. ..B.E. seems downhearted since M. C. went away.... The Observer is becoming very popular siace the arrival of the 0.M. ... What kept G.P. so busy on Sunday ? He didn't take his best girl out for a walk ? ...The annual picnic came off on Friday last and was the usual success. The inevitable danoe followed in the evening. Mr P. McPherson discharging with satisfaction the duties of M.C., while Messrs J. Boss and W. Bruer supplied excellent music. ...W.C. says the floor was rather heavy ; but what induced him to measure Ms length on it?.. .T00 bad of the boys to out out G.P. with Miss H. after that worthy bringing her all the way from Auckland.. ..F.C. Was piling ■on the aerony with R.F. of the Valley.
