J.H. looks quite the masher now he has taken up with S.G. Out of sight out of mind. Poor N.H....Why did W.W. give E.B. the cold shoulder ? Wonder what his hesitation was. Kiss and be friends, W.... Cruel A.P. to give up T.H. so willingly....Rumour has it double harness has been ordered for C.P. and S.P., so be ready immediately.... What makes J.H. continually change so in regard to ladies. Don't they smile, J.? Be true to X.X.... W.C. won the hard race Sunday. Too slow, F.M. ; better luck next picnic... Rumour says J.C. is going to build shortly....Whydidit take H.V. and W.C. so long to say good night ? W., you must not encourage stories to be told about the sewing bee and get people into a r0w....5. G. returned from the races in good Bpirits. Caused W.McL. to nearly loose his train. Naughty girl.... Such is love— J. visits the shop. The little woman is as good as a mother to him....W.P. seemed quite pleased seeing his name in the O. Says F. must be careful when he comes home. The O.M. is about town....W.D.S. must be careful. The O.M. quietly warns him he is watched with M.T....W.C. and K.K. looked quite loving standing at the gate Sunday night. The O.M. got tired of watching and waiting... .Rumour says if W.W. would not flirt so with M.E. whilst dancing, somebody would marry him with his permission. Not on, eh, W.P...F. M. looks quite ill since L.E. left for foreign lands.... Just arrived at the satisfactory point of being two sworn friends for life-E.E. and L.M. The O.M.s congratulations
