HUNTLY.
On Friday, 22nd ult., the Liberal Association gave a very large and successful ball in Balph's Hall. The hall was very "beautifully decorated with ferns, evergreens and Chinese lanterns. Mr J. Muir acted as M.C. The following were some of the dresses worn by the ladies present : Mrs Henderson, cream delaine ; Mrs Eeid, black satin ; Mrs Farrell, black skirt, white silk blouse ; Miss M. Harris looked very pretty in black silk, looped with red rosesi as also did Miss Caerlyon in pink.
