WAIROA.
— Matrimony seems to be the rage among the Aratapn Storekeepers. Two in six weeks. The " Infant " has serious thoughts of taking a header too. — What on earth was the matter with "Lord John C." at the Stannaway Relief Fnnd Concert the week before last ? Don't permit encores another time, John, or at least say so earlier in the programme. I wonder how it would have been if the boot had been on the other leg. — The discourse (for it could not be called a sermon) at Aratapu on Sunday morning last week was rather unique; some of the remarks were rather "broad." Anyhow the audience seemed to enjoy it and quite endorse the sentiments expressed. Some of them never have danced— at least, hardly ever. —Some of the members of the Aratapu Football team are not quite so active on their pins as they "were before the match last Saturday week. We noticed with regret the absence of " Dicksie " from the Rink on the following Monday. Perhaps he was better engaged However, "Pilly " and the rasthetic photographer were " all there " especially about the hair.
