LATE SIR TRUBY KING.
VAULT CONSECRATED. BY BISHOP OF WELLINGTON. SHORT, SIMPLE CEREMONY. [By Telegraph. —Press Association]. WELLINGTON, Sept, 26. Tlie ground at Melrose, Avhere the vault containing the remains of the late Sir Truby King is situated, Avas consecrated by the Bishop of Welling ton, the Rt. Rev. 11. St. Barbe 110 l land, to-day in the presence of a small gathering of the public and the Kantane nurses.
A petition for the consecration, signed by Mr. Justice Blair, Avas read by him to the Bishop and the gathering, and the Bishop signified his assent to it.
After the recital of Psalm 23 and a prayer by the Bishop, the sentence of consecration Avas read by the Diocesan Registrar, Mr. S. T. C. Sprott. It Avas then signed by the Bishop, avlio charged the Registrar to preserve it among tho monuments of the diocese.
