LATER CLOSING.
AFTERNOON MAILS. ALTERATION IN THAMES. The Chief Postmaster at Thames advises that from September 26, the closing time of afternoon mails, Avhich at present is 3 o’doik, Avill be advanced to 3.10.
Late fee letters, prepaid Id in addition to the ordinary postage, avi ll be cleared from the usual posting box at 3.20 and included in the mails Avhich are about to close. The above alterations in mail closing times have been brought about by the representations made by the Thames Chamber of Commence.
