SPRING SHOW.
FLOWERS ON DISPLAY. ST. JAMES’ EXHIBITION. ANNUAL FUNCTION OPENED. The annual spring flower show and sale of work, being held under the auspices of St. James’ Presbyterian Church in St. James’ Hall, was opened this afternoon before a large atten dance. *
The display of exhibition flowers this year is varied and the blooms are all of a high standard. The hall has been specially decorated for the occasion, and much interest centres around the various stalls.
The stall-holders are:—Sewing: Mesdames R. Muir and Noakes. Young Ladies’ Guild: Mrs. Nankivell and young ladies. Produce: Mesdames Me Donald, Roswell and Morrison. Cakes: Mesdames Pratt, Shepherd and Flenr ing. Aprons: Mrs. Lowry and Mrs. Graham. Afternoon tea: MesdameS Sutherland and Arhury. Flowers: Mrs. Wayne and Miss Hardman. Exhibition Flowers: Mrs. W. Smith and Miss Noble. Sweets: Misses Lamb and Muir. The show will conclude to-morrow evening.
