The Thames Rugby Union Management Committee met last night. Present: Messrs. G. W. Price (chairman), R. Mclunurney, L. Coward, M. Hoskins, A. Fleet, E. Arbury, T. Davis, A. li. Lomas, 13. A. Mahoney, J. 11. Corbett, R. Henderson and the secretary, Mr. E. O. Brownlee. Peace Cup Challenges. Challenges forwarded from Tc Aroha and Mangatawhiri for the Peace Cup were accepted. Teams to Travel. College Old Boys’ thirds were granted permission to travel to Paeroa on Saturday to play Convent Old Boys, and Physical Training seniors’ application to travel to Coromandel was also granted.

The question of what rules the re

forces were to enforce was mentioned by Mr. J. 11. Corbett, and the secretary stated that no communication had yet been received from the Auckland Rugby Union.

It was decided to seek the necessarv information from the parent body.

Saturday’s Arrangements. Arrangements for Saturday were finalised as follows: — Seniors. —College Old Boys v. Ilui Mai, Xo. 1 ground, 2.45 p.m,; Mr. A. Johnston. Juniors. —College Old Boys v. Physical Training, Xo. 2 ground, 1.15 p.m; Mr. J. Marshall. Foundry v. High School, Xo. 1 ground, 1.15 p.m; Mr. C. Gedye. Third-grade.—Foundry v. High School, Xo. 2 ground, 2.45 p.m; Mr. C. Cameron. REFEREES’ VIEW. 1937 RULES IX USE. The referees, at their meeting last night, decided to rule in accordance with last year’s rules until such time as thev were advised otherwise.
